A bit of Prada and Emporio Armani

Loving all the cute pouch bags and Prada prints via Milan fashion week!

London Fashion Week 2012

Pictures from Giles Deacon at London Fashion Week which showcased a bit of silver which I love.  I was ogling lots at Westwood, Acne and Mary Katrantzou. One of the best fashion week collections in my opinion. {see more here}.

Vogue China - Sept 2011 - Simple pleasures

I just love the shoes in this Vogue China editorial. Sleek attire by Celine coupled with happy feet. Found similar looking ones at Top Shop! (source).

Spring ready-to-wear 2010 outfits with hot lips

Random pick from a collection of beautiful spring/summer outfits in the form of frills, puffs and harem pants from Dior, Basso & Brooke, Betsey Johnson, Luella, Issac Mizrahi and  Marc by Marc Jacobs. {source}. Issac Mizrahi's fifties-era Fred look, my favourite here, is just too cool for school!

A Peek at Louis Vuitton Fall 2010 Ad Campaign

A chance to plug those significantly beautiful larger than life skirts again, this time doing it 1950's style in Louis Vuitton's Fall 2010 Ad Campaign

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner

Huge skirts falling below the knee, swaying and maybe bouncing and sexy corsets are all quite ..alluring. The whole ensemble is so classic and vintagey. Love it terribly esp the larger than life skirts! Louis Vuitton has just opened the largest Maison store on New Bond Street in London, (not that I shop there!) but nice to see the collection worn off the catwalk - launch party, but if you prefer, here's the Paris show with some necessary cleavage.
Enjoy!  {image source : Wallpaper magazine}

It doesn't always have to be a skinny

Rightly so, hence i'm thinking of banishing my skinny jeans, to the back of my closet as I've gotten a little bored of them. Not sure if they are the most flattering style anymore; these ones that flare a little at the bottom look more edgier.

Leave me in a French Quiff

The French Quiff is quite the firesome hairstyle- that is with the right amount of hair-spray and pins, you could make it work. My favourite are the girls on their bicycles; when do we ever dress up and go cycling?? Reminded me of one recent weekend trip to Hampstead Heath.

Feather as embellishment

Obsessing with embroidery at the moment as you can see! but what’s not to love about this intricate age old art...and so, I stumbled upon this gorgeous feathered white dress from YSL, dating back to the Winter of 2008. Embroidered with copper thread and appliquéd with black feathers and tiny sequins, I can only marvel at it's quiet sophistication each and every time. Unable to afford such joy’s, I have been thinking of visiting a haberdashery instead. VV Rouleaux

Lip inspired dresses by Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti

Philosophy Di Alberta Ferretti lip motif dresses for the summer completely convince you that lips could look good on anything Philosophy. These sheer panel dresses have lip motifs beautifully embroidered onto soft tulle material giving off a light and delicately cool look. And you wouldn’t require much accessorizing too; just a pair of laced-up loafers and you are off!
