New Year Parties

  What a year this has been! 2010 was full of rough bumps for me but thankfully I've seen it
  through and am looking forward to 2011 with renewed spirit and vigour. I'll be celebrating at a
  jazz club and hoping it'll be a great evening. I loved the jewellery assortment and hair piece
  in the picture, definitely how I like to wear mine, all oddly bunched together. Here's wishing all
  of you a fabulous New Year's! see you next year. {source}

Photography ~ Erwin Olaf

Shot by Dutch photographer ~ Erwin Olaf. I was completely taken with the amusing soiree shots so I'm sharing them with you. It might get you thinking about your impending New Year's party and what you might wear. I loved the dramatic make-up! must try it some time.

Viva la diva!

An editorial from Polish Magazine Viva! Love the flirty skirt and I do remember attempting to climb fence like those when I was a kid. {source}

Lanvin and H&M

  I wouldn't mind buying a piece of Lanvin at a H&M price tag although I couldn't be asked to queue for hours, hoping to be one of the first few to be set free into the store when the collection goes on sale - Nov 23. Here's some of the must have {pieces} for the more willing and able bodies!

Swedish Interiors and other news

Apologies for the lack of posts as life has been a bit of a roller coaster recently and sadly, my blog took a beating so to begin I've revisited this Swedish interiors website which never fails to impress with some quirky decor. I thought how funny to hang family pictures high above the front door, completely out of anyone's reach but it does show individuality and I liked all the different sized pictures frames. Also, came across some very unique craftmanship by Soojin kang, a South Korean designer who dresses old antique furniture with patchwork fabric and designer Lizzie Allen who makes bespoke hand screen printed wallpaper of London life which I love.
To top it off, 'Kirstie Allsopp Homemade home'  series 2 is back!!. She certainly inspired a lot of us to go foraging for second hand furniture at car boot sales and street corners and forget about buying boring flat pack furniture. I couldn't agree more. I've picked one of her tube clips from season 1 for you. That's all folks! enjoy watching.

Jill Sander

Pairing simple T-shirts and ball gown skirts is kinda genius so I got a little carried away with the whole Jill Sander collection on style.com . On that note - a maxi from the Outnet and a great tune {wonderful life} from Hurts, cos it's playing in the background and I wanted to share.
