It doesn't always have to be a skinny

Rightly so, hence i'm thinking of banishing my skinny jeans, to the back of my closet as I've gotten a little bored of them. Not sure if they are the most flattering style anymore; these ones that flare a little at the bottom look more edgier.

Leave me in a French Quiff

The French Quiff is quite the firesome hairstyle- that is with the right amount of hair-spray and pins, you could make it work. My favourite are the girls on their bicycles; when do we ever dress up and go cycling?? Reminded me of one recent weekend trip to Hampstead Heath.

Scandinavian living by Pia Ulin

Swedish photographer Pia Ulin does some lovely interior photography that I’m liking. The design theme I guess, resonates perfectly with the Scandinavian style of living; modern, clean and minimalistic and although I’m not a huge fan of a clean living palette, there are lots to like; like the cute alarm clocks perched on top of the bed headrest. Who really needs more than one? See more of Pia Ulin here.

Feather as embellishment

Obsessing with embroidery at the moment as you can see! but what’s not to love about this intricate age old art...and so, I stumbled upon this gorgeous feathered white dress from YSL, dating back to the Winter of 2008. Embroidered with copper thread and appliquéd with black feathers and tiny sequins, I can only marvel at it's quiet sophistication each and every time. Unable to afford such joy’s, I have been thinking of visiting a haberdashery instead. VV Rouleaux
