Black seems to have faded away from our shops only to be replaced by pastels, florals and the likes but much as I like the former, former, I can't remember the last time I paid hommage to dressing in noir so here's an editorial from online magazine {u+mag} to convince you+me that it still has all it's wooing power.
yes, there's more.. a glimpse of the garden party presentation held to showcase Stella McCartney's resort/spring collection. What a novel idea!; garden backdrop, models playing chess, dancing etc though I can't comment on those dance moves!
Stella McCartney's Resort {early spring} collection is tailored gorgeously. Shorts dresses, lace, bold flower prints and sharp suits sum up ideas for work to evening to leisure wear. Simple classics..what's not to love! See more of her collection here.
Touch of white shots picked from portfolio of professional Dutch photographer, Morten Holtum .Definitely love the shabby chic furniture and simple decor ideas set against the white walls. It conveys a simple, soft mood, plus why I never considered using my old glass bowls as flower pots I don’t know.
Attracted to a combination of styling ideas; multi-coloured hairdo, beautiful Proenza Schouler wedges, orange eye-shadow and oversize wrist watch. Modeled by Alana Zimmer for Canadian magazine, Flare. View more pictures here.
Etsy ShopVerabelsells some unique vintage jewellery gifts. It includes a collection of 1960’s vintage lockets to hold photographs, some screen printed with different motifs like the one above or the little vintage book, or even the love letter necklace with a 'i love you' note inside.
Huge skirts falling below the knee, swaying and maybe bouncing and sexy corsets are all quite ..alluring. The whole ensemble is so classic and vintagey. Love it terribly esp the larger than life skirts! Louis Vuitton has just opened the largest Maison store on New Bond Street in London, (not that I shop there!) but nice to see the collection worn off the catwalk - launch party, but if you prefer, here's the Paris show with some necessary cleavage.
